Two Days to Bead Soup Blog Hop

Wow, the day is almost upon us when we can reveal what we made with the bead soup that we received from our partners.  I have been ready for some time and am so excited that the time is about upon us.  Here is a sneak peak at what I've made.

I haven't made any jewelry for the last couple of days - rather, I have been involved in the task of getting our taxes finished and filed.  They are quite complicated as we have rental properties and two corporations, unincorporated business and investments, and on and on.......   It takes me two days to get the forms completed and checked and that doesn't even include the constantly ongoing bookkeeping required.   Anyway, its done and I'm glad.

Lori Anderson recently had a giveaway of seed beads and some red pressed glass beads.  I won the seed beads.  I tell you, I can't believe it.  I have never had luck like this.  I love seed beads and it seems like everytime I want to use them I never seem to have just what I want.  I won some beautiful blues and reds -- two colors that I really lack.  I can't wait to get them.  I will have to do something special with them.

I don't have any new jewelry to show you so I am going to show you some recent pictures of my three babies.  Jebadiah Boone, Justice Marie, and Sophia Suzanne.  I love these guys.....

Send Me Pictures of Your Pets

I am still out of town and staying with Maggie, Mom's dog.  In the meantime, while I am waiting to get back to jewelry making, I would like to ask that you send me pictures of your special dogs or cats and I will make a post in the next few days featuring your pets.  You can send them to be through the convo feature of the etsy shop, or you can send it to me at jeanawells@kc.rr.com.

I will post the pictures that I have received on Friday morning.  If you are sending a picture, post a comment and let me know so I'll be sure to look for it.

Still eating leftovers.......I love them!

Merry Christmas Everyone

We are settled in after traveling to Springfield, MO where I grew up and where most of my family still lives.  We had our first get-together at my  sister Karen's last evening for a gift exchange with another sister that won't be able to be with us on Christmas Day.  We are going to have a get-together at my brother Jimmy's this evening and then all of us will be together again tomorrow at Karen's again for Christmas tomorrow.  There are seven of us and our spouses and my Mom.  Dad is still alive, but I don't know if he will be joining us or not.  Eight grandchildren.  The oldest grandchild, Chris, is 25 and he just got married to Sonja at Thanksgiving.  They have two basset hound babies.

This is just about the cutest picture I've ever seen.

This is Jebadiah Boone, my boy.  He's two years old.

This is Justice Marie.  We don't know exactly how old she is, but she is very wise.

This is Sophia Suzanne.  We don't know how old she is either but she is younger than Justice and older than Jebadiah.  She is a real kisser - she can't control her licker.   They are all with us as we travel for Christmas.  We don't board them unless is is urgent that we do so.
